Bolindale Food Pantry ribbon-cutting is Thursday

Howland Township trustees will have a ribbon-cutting at noon today for the Bolindale Food Pantry in Bolindale Christian Church, 2749 Fairview Ave.

The pantry was made possible by a grant from the Ohio Department of Health through the Trumbull County Health Department.

It’s a cooperative agreement among the trustees, health department, church and Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley.

The pantry will be open the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will serve the Bolindale area, bounded on the south by Deforest Townline Road, on the east by Allyson Drive, on the west by Bolin Avenue and on the north by Draper Street Southeast.
