Woman dumped from car in Warren

Staff report

WARREN

Police are searching for a white female driving an older royal blue Oldsmobile, from which an unconscious woman was pulled out and onto the pavement at a gas station Monday afternoon.

The injured woman, who police had not identified, appeared to be dead when she hit the pavement, but she was alive at ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital as of Monday afternoon, police said.

Ambulance personnel performed CPR on the unconscious woman, police said. She is about 5-foot-8 and 200 pounds.

The woman was found near one of the gas pumps at the McQuaid’s/Sunoco gas station, 805 W. Market St., near Tod Avenue NW.

A caller told police at 12:45 p.m. that the car, possibly a two-door, had a lot of rust, especially on the hood, and a spoiler on the back.

A witness who declined to give his name said the car seemed to have come from the back of the gas station.
