Cub Scouts to host Pinewood Derby Races

CANFIELD

Cub Scout Pack 116 at St. Michael Church is hosting this year’s Whispering Pines District Pinewood Derby Races for all Cub Scouts in Mahoning County and Hubbard.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Sponsoring this year’s races are Zinz Design and Selection Center and Austintown Pediatrics, both of Austintown, and Parker Hannifin Corp. Gear Pump Division of Youngstown.

A concession stand will donate its profits to Akron Children’s Hospital of the Mahoning Valley.
