Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., painting class ($5) at 9:30, bingo and “Ask the Social Worker” at 10, Wellness Monday at 11:30 and Food, Fitness, Fun (a six-week course) at noon; Tuesday, Vets Helping Vets at 10 a.m., Drums Alive and bridge club at 10:30, bingo at noon, backyard garden planner at 1 p.m., beginner computer class at 3 and intermediate computer class at 4; Wednesday, Walking Club and open exercise/cornhole/pingpong/pool at 9 a.m., bingo at 10, and box lunch ($2) and grocery bingo at noon; Thursday, yoga at 9:30 a.m., open exercise and Wii bowling at 9:30, beginners crochet at 10:30, bingo and computer lab at noon, and movie matinee (“The Green Card”) at 1:30 p.m.; and Friday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., bingo, discussion group and genealogy at 10, and open exercise/Wii bass fishing and a matter of balance at noon. Trumbull County Senior Court AARP Driver’s Safety Program is offering a review of driving skills, techniques and strategies to help seniors adjust to physical changes that may affect their driving ability from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Austintown Senior Center, 1315 Church Hill-Hubbard Road. A certified instructor will conduct the class, and the cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers. Refreshments and snacks will be served. Call 330-953-1416 to reserve your spot. Classes are co-sponsored by the Austintown and Mahoning County Sheriff Senior Services Unit.
