Inspiring Minds will host sixth annual gala

Inspiring Minds, an outreach enrichment agency that offers after-school programs to under-represented youth in Warren, will host its sixth annual gala, Inspired Tastes World Dining Tour, at 6 p.m. April 27 at St. Demitrios Community Center, 3223 Atlantic St. N.E. The event celebrates the achievements of students who participate in the educational, community service and athletic programs offered by the organization, which awards thousands of dollars in scholarships annually, allowing them to continue their education at colleges and technical institutions across the country.

A Community Achievement Award also will be presented to an individual who has provided inspiration and support for students over the past year.
