Salon plans benefit for two families

Split Endz Beauty Salon, 846 Youngstown-Poland Road, is planning a benefit from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 13 and April 14 at the salon to help the families of Ken Stiver and Gary Wilson, who were injured in an explosion March 1 at the Struthers water treatment plant.

Wilson died March 29, and Stiver remains hospitalized.

The salon will offer haircuts for the usual cost of $15 and donate half of all proceeds to the two families.
