Erin Gabriel tossed a no-hitter, striking out 12 and walking three. She also homered and doubled to drive in three runs for the Bulldogs (5-0, 2-0 All-American Conference American). Kalie Benson’s two hits included a double while Anna Barnhart drove in three runs. The Eagles are 2-7.

Columbiana 8, St. Thomas Aquinas 1

LOUISVILLE

Sierra Ross (2-0) struck out 13 batters and walked one in tossing a three-hitter. Katie Libb sparked the Clippers’ offense with three hits including a double and three RBIs. Ross, Khylea Fullum, Lauren Schlueter and Megan Cutlip each had two hits for the Clippers (8-0).

Girard 4, LaBrae 0

GIRARD

Winning pitcher Neco Maderitz (5-3) struck out 11 and walked one in tossing a four-hit shutout. Callie Jay doubled for the Indians (6-3, 1-0 AAC National). For the Vikings, Jessica Buck had two hits.

Austintown Fitch 11, Niles 1

NILES

Winning pitcher Tori Wise (4-4) tossed a one-hitter for the Falcons. Alex Corradi hit two doubles and drove in three runs. Megan Carney doubled, Alana Callahan had two hits and Gabby Butcher drove in two runs for the Falcons (4-4).

Jackson-Milton 23, Southeast 0

RAVENNA

Junior Paije Kiraly (7-1) had nine strikeouts and no walks in a two-hitter for Jackson-Milton (7-1). Shannon Ricketson had four hits and four RBIs, Zaina Sahli had a double and three singles and scored four times. Rachael Obradovich had four singles while Katie Santor had a double and three singles for five RBIs. Madison Tomaino had three singles and Caitlyn Carney had a double and two singles for three RBIs for the Blue Jays. Southeast is 4-2.

Ursuline 7, Lisbon 6

BAZETTA TOWNSHIP

Ursuline’s first two batters in the bottom of the seventh — Dana Creatore and Madelyn Christoff — reached base on errors before Marina Bermann scored freshman pinch-runner Christina Xenakis with one out to end the game. Bermann’s seventh-inning hit — her third of the game — accounted for her second RBI. The junior also tripled. Also for the Irish (4-4), junior Leah Carroll and senior Erin Vukovich had two hits and two RBIs each. One of Vukovich’s hits was a triple. For Lisbon, Kayla Hiscox had a double and two singles while Cami Jackson had two singles.

Cardinal Mooney 12, Bedford 0

BOARDMAN

Katrina Larson’s three hits included a three-run homer and she finished with four RBIs. Marissa Gorvet had two doubles and two RBIs while Gianna Musolino had two hits and two RBIS for the Cardinals (1-7). Angela Penza tossed a two-hitter and struck out six.

Kelsey Francis, Natalie Halavick, Paula Sponsler and Jenna Seifert each had three hits for the Mustangs (6-1, 4-0 NAC).

LORDSTOWN

Winning pitcher Sarah Urchek contributed two doubles for the Lakers. For the Red Devils (4-4, 3-1 Northeastern Athletic Conference), Ally Hajnosz doubled and Brandy Pursell had two hits.

ALLIANCE

Winning pitcher Sarah Vrabel (5-0) tossed a one-hitter for the undefeated Cardinals. Darby Cockrell and Sydney Opladen doubled while Kaci Hyde had two hits.

Ashtabula Edgewood 7, Cardinal Mooney 5

BOARDMAN

Dee Laughlin homered twice to drive in six runs for Edgewood (4-2). Gorvet, Penza, Marche’ Venable and Musolino each had two hits for Mooney.
