CANFIELD
Senior Mike Wittman had a double and single, junior Tom Ciccolelli had three hits and three RBIs and junior Derek Turocy hit a two-run home run for Canfield (5-0, 2-0 All-American Conference American Division). Sophomore Alec Buchenic (2-0) had two strikeouts in pitching one inning in relief for the win. For Struthers, Joe Wilaj had two hits and an RBI while Anthony LaRiccia had a double and single and two RBIs. Roman Salinas had a double and single and one RBI, Mike Gigax had three singles and Kolton Rudzik had two hits for the Wildcats (4-2, 1-2).
Jackson-Milton 14, East 0
NORTH JACKSON
Brian Nagy struck out 12 batters, and walked one in tossing a two-hit shutout. Brandon Mitchell and Adam Jeffries each had two hits while Josh Kramer and Nate Clark doubled. East is 0-5.
Mineral Ridge 6, McDonald 5
MINERAL RIDGE
For the second straight day, Mineral Ridge won on a suicide squeeze. In the bottom of the seventh, junior Mike White scored the winning run on a suicide squeeze by senior Zach Tasker with one out. On Wednesday, the Rams beat Columbiana by stealing home in similar fashion. Freshman Nick Ferguson (1-1) got the win in relief with the help of four strikeouts and one walk. He followed Tasker, the starter who registered two strikeouts and no walks. White and junior Dan Ferguson both had three singles and scored three times and Dino Digacomo had a triple and single and three RBIs for Mineral Ridge (5-3). Anthony Raschilla had two singles for McDonald.
Niles 7, Fitch 6
NILES
The Red Dragons scored all of their runs in the first four innings, then held on for the win. For Niles, Tyler Wiery had a triple and three RBIs, while Pat Barrett and Nick Woloschak had two hits apiece. Woloschak knocked in two runs. For Fitch, Alex Sierra had two doubles, while Phil Socha and Anthony Paris had a double apiece. Paris, Phil Socha, Zach Miller, Logan Kane, Scott Pierce and Tony Adams all knocked in one run.
Louisville 10, West Branch 3
BELOIT
Beau Taylor went 2-for-3 for West Branch (3-4, 2-2 Northeastern Buckeye Conference. Louisville is 6-2, 4-0.

BRISTOLVILLE
Kevin Chirozzi’s two hits included a double for the Panthers (3-4, 2-2 Northeastern Athletic Conference).
