Area Easter egg hunts and other activities as submitted to The Vindicator:
mahoning county
Boardman: Eggstraordinary Hunt set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Glenwood Christian Fellowship, 7872 Glenwood Ave., for children age 1 through 12. Participants should be accompanied by an adult. There will be a scavenger hunt, and all will receive candy-filled eggs.
Youngstown: VFW 6488 and its auxiliary will have an egg hunt from noon to 3 p.m. today at the post home, 2065 Coitsville-Hubbard Road, for children age 3 to 12. Bring your own containers. For information, call the post home at 330-746-8259.
Youngstown: Jefferson- Naomi Temple 124 sponsors an egg hunt from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Buckeye Elks Center, 421 North Ave., for children age 2 to 12.
Trumbull county
Girard: Egg hunt is planned at 3 p.m. Saturday in Girard City Gym for children age 2 to 9 who live in Girard.
Howland: Howland Community Church, 198 Niles-Cortland Road, will host its annual Easter Extravanza from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday with petting zoo, pony rides, refreshments and games.
Warren: Annual egg hunt from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday for children age 2 to 13 at the Alliance Community Outreach Program Center, 2051 Niles Road SE. It will be sponsored by ACOP Center, Trumbull County Children Services and the K9 Motorcycle Club.
