St. Elizabeth Health Center Auxiliary will meet at noon Monday in the private dining room of the hospital, 1044 Belmont Ave., Youngstown. Maryann Pacak, director of heart and vascular services, will be the speaker.

CLASSES

Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1955 will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at What’s Cookin’ in the Mathews Road Plaza for the monthly breakfast. Class members, mates and guests are welcome.

Woodrow Wilson High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s Restaurant in Boardman. Class members of 1946 and 1947 are welcome.

College Club of Sharon will meet April 14 at First Presbyterian Church. The featured speaker is Robert Van Dale, Ph.D., and his topic will be “The Changed and Changing Landscape of Religion in America: Implications in an Election Year.” Continental breakfast will be served at 10 a.m. Club members are urged to take guests. LIBRARY FRIENDS

Friends of the Boardman Library will meet for refreshments at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the community room of the Boardman Branch Library, 7680 Glenwood Ave., Boardman. M.J. Albacete will present the 10 a.m. program, “Music of the Civil War.” Hostesses are Jean Orr, Romaine Moore, Jane Martin and Marion Summers. Guests and new members are welcome; no reservations required. The public is encouraged to support reading programs by donating books, magazines and CDs. The group collects donated items from 10 a.m. to noon on the first and third Saturday of each month.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

Church Women United will have a board meeting at 10 a.m. Monday at Protestant Family Service, 496 Glenwood Ave., No. 115, Youngstown.

Mercer County Christian Coalition will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God, 1455 N. Keel Ridge Road, Hermitage, Pa. Joe Zentis will lead an open discussion about the group’s vision, goals and structure. Plans for the April 14 Tea Party at the Mercer County Courthouse also will be finalized. The group’s purpose is to educate, inform and mobilize Christians to become active in the public arena in support of causes that reflect Biblical values. Anyone interested in supporting these goals is welcome to attend.

Mothers of the Crucifix Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown, will meet at 1:30 p.m. April 15 at the church. Cathy Zack will preside, and hostesses will be Justine Antal, Josephine McMillen and Alice Rossi.

Mount Carmel Society of St. Rose Church will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the lower church.

Berlin Center Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Weidenmier House. George Houk will present a commentary and photo show of older Canfield Fairs. Refreshments will follow the program. The public is invited.

Springfield Township Historical Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Sarah Mercer, a senior from Springfield High School, will give her competition presentation from her state qualifying event. The museum will also be open for touring at that time.
