$10K reward offered in Philadelphia brick attack

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Investigators are looking for suspects in a brutal attack on a parking attendant who was beaten with a brick in downtown Philadelphia.

A $10,000 reward is being offered by the Citizens Crime Commission for information leading to arrests in the attack, which happened just before 8 p.m. Wednesday at a lot in the city’s theater district.

Police say a couple walked up to the attendant, beat him and left him semi-conscious on the pavement just blocks from the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Officials say the attendant is in critical condition at a hospital.

The attack was caught on surveillance tape. It shows two women and a man engaging the attendant in conversation before the man hits the attendant in the head with a brick. Police say all three left the scene in a cab.
