Alyssa Nicholas homered and Caitlin McDivitt doubled for the Bulldogs (8-1, 2-0 All-American Conference National). Winning pitcher Alexis Neumeister (4-1) struck out 10 and walked one. For the Leopards (1-4, 0-2), Leah Leshnack’s two hits included a home run. Victoria Serrano and Haley Cutlip each had two hits.
East Palestine 12, Niles 2
EAST PALESTINE
Carly Blair and Kristen Morris each had two RBIs for East Palestine (7-1). Logan Gatchel laced a triple and Dana Walker had a double. Hope Callen had a double for Niles (2-5).
Mineral Ridge 8, Girard 3
MINERAL RIDGE
Sophomore McKenzie Garland and seniors Caitlin Smith, Elyssa Simko and Megan Garland all had two hits for Mineral Ridge (5-3). Megan Garland finished with three RBIs, while Miranda Stith, also a senior, had two RBIs. One of Megan Garland’s hits was a double. Kulon had a home run, while Nicole Maderitz, Morgan Walters and Sigurani had two hits apiece for Girard (5-3). One of Walters’ hits was a double.
Mathews 2, Pymatuming Valley 1
VIENNA
Tabby Granelly had a double and triple and scored both runs for Mathews (4-1). Maddie Grimes had both RBIs.
Lordstown 14, Southington 6
SOUTHINGTON
Down one run, Lordstown, helped by two errors to start the top of the seventh, erupted for 10 runs. Sophomore Ally Hajnosz went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer in the first and delivered five RBIs for Lordstown (4-3, 3-0 Northeastern Athletic Conference). Hajnosz’s other two hits were singles, each bringing in a run. She also scored on a walk in the seventh. Sophomore Brandy Pursell had two singles, while junior Sami Heverly had a double for the Red Devils. Freshman Hailey Toporcer (4-3) had five strikeouts and one walk. Becca Wolke had a triple and two singles and R. Wilson had three singles for Southington (1-2, 1-2 NAC).
Ledgemont 8, Bristol 2
BRISTOLVILLE
Zach Doerr and Drew Degener each had two hits, while Danny LaRosa had three RBIs for Ledgemont (5-1, 3-0 NAC). For Bristol (3-3, 2-1), Dylan Rimer doubled.

BOARDMAN
Junior Dakota DeAmicis (6-0) had five strikeouts and no walks in a six-hitter for Columbiana (7-0) at the Fields of Dreams. Junior Khylea Fullum had a two-homer, two doubles and a single for four RBIs. Senior Katie Libb had three singles while freshman Lauren Schlueter had double and single and four RBIs. Freshman Marissa St. George had a double and single and Paige Macklin, a junior, had two singles for the Clippers, who took a 5-0 lead in the fourth inning. March’e Venable had a double and single for Mooney.
