Handicapped library patrons must call for access
YOUNGSTOWN
Accessibility arrangements for handicapped main public-library patrons have had to be changed due to safety concerns at the regular entrance steps that are now under repair.
Because of those concerns, handicapped people can no longer use the elevator at that entrance to bypass the steps and are asked to call the library at 330-744-8636 to arrange for alternative access at a barrier-free employee entrance.
Non-handicapped patrons will continue to use the Wick Avenue entrance and climb the steps there for the next three weeks.
