Boardman company gets Rayen Stadium job

The city school board has awarded the contract for the Rayen Stadium renovation to Brock Builders of Boardman.

The company’s $3,051,770 bid was the lowest of the three considered for the project.

The project, which is to be complete in time for an East High School football game in late August, will give city school students a home field, something that’s been lacking since 1993.

A fundraising campaign is underway to raise money for the project.
