Alliance man bound over to Trumbull grand jury on numerous charges
WARREN — Charles S. Hill waived a preliminary hearing today in Warren Municipal Court on numerous charges related to his flight from police March 26.
The charges were bound over to a Trumbull County grand jury, and a judge continued Hill’s $300,000 bond.
Hill, 36, of Alliance, is charged with two counts of felonious assault and single counts of failure to comply with the orders of a police officer, receiving stolen property and abduction.
Agents with the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Fugitive Task Force had been looking for Hill for about 10 days on an arrest warrant out of West Virginia for theft when they located him in the Warren Plaza.
Hill allegedly tried to run over two agents in the parking lot, then fled north into Bazetta Township, where he eluded capture until later in the day, when he was found in a Liberty motel room.
