2 adults, child injured in crash

Three people including a 1-year-old child were taken to a hospital after a two-car accident at state Route 616 and state Route 289.

The accident happened at 9:06 p.m. Tuesday after two cars collided in the intersection, Struthers police reported.

Paige Patchner, 21, of Struthers, the driver of one car, and her passengers Chelsey Gordon, 21, of Petersburg and Alexis Shacklock, 1, of Struthers, were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center, the report indicates. Alexis was discharged, the hospital said.

It did not have information on the others.

The driver of the other car, Paige Ellen Witherspoon, 20, of Newton Falls, and a passenger in her car were not injured, police reported.

Police have not indicated there are any charges filed.
