THORNDALE, Pa. (AP) — A woman has been struck and killed by a commuter train outside Philadelphia.

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority says a woman was struck and killed around 5 a.m. today near the station in Thorndale, Chester County.

SEPTA suspended service on the Paoli/Thorndale line between Thorndale and Malvern.

No further information was immediately released.
