Darrian Yanek (2-1) tossed a three-hitter but South Range gave up a run in the first and third innings at the Grand Strand Classic. The Raiders (3-2) did not have a hit against Garfield (14-0).

LOWELLVILLE

Sissy Stubbs was the winning pitcher, striking out seven, and she hit two doubles and a home run, with six RBIs, for Western Reserve (7-0, 4-0 Inter Tri-County League Tier Two). Hope Johnson also had two doubles, with three RBIs, for the Blue Devils, while Alexis Lude had two singles and two RBIs. Angela Talaganis singled and scored for Lowellville.

Girard 8, Brookfield 1

BROOKFIELD

Kylie Kulon had four hits, including a triple, for Girard (4-2). Mackenzie Teter, Bryanna Jay and Morgan Walters each had three hits.

Poland 12, Fitch 0

AUSTINTOWN

Jenna Modic tossed a one-hitter to lead Poland (4-0, 2-0 All-American Conference American) in a five-inning game. Modic also doubled and Erin Gabriel tripled for the Bulldogs. Megan Carney singled for Fitch (3-4, 0-4).

Canfield 3, Howland 2

HOWLAND

Gina Mancini had two hits and two RBIs and Kaci Hyde added two hits for the Cardinals (4-0, 2-0 AAC American). Tori McCormick had three doubles, including a two-run double in the bottom of the sixth, to lead Howland (6-4, 0-2).

Lakeview 8, Liberty 0

LIBERTY

Winning pitcher Alexis Neumeister (3-1) struck out 10 and walked four in tossing a four-hit shutout for the Bulldogs (7-1, 1-0 AAC National). Neumeister had two hits and two RBIs. Also with two hits were Laura Innocenzi and Alyssa Nicholas. Lexi George also drove in two runs. The Leopards are 1-3, 0-1.

Beaver Local 13, Struthers 11

STRUTHERS

Maranda Kiddey had a pair of doubles for Beaver Local. Hannah Dubec had a triple and Ashley Hefferon collected three RBIs for Struthers (3-3)

EAST PALESTINE

Logan Gatchel had a solo home run and Karly Pence and Desiree Walker each had an RBI for East Palestine (5-1, 4-0 ITCL2).

LaBrae 14, Campbell 0

LEAVITTSBURG

Jessica Buck, Emily Dugan and Kathlyn Dieter combined on a five-inning perfect game. Lindsay Moon had three hits, including a double, with three RBIs, Lindsay Buck had three hits, including a double, and two RBIs and Somer McCoy homered and drove in two for the Vikings (4-0, 2-0 AAC National).

NORTH JACKSON

Paije Kiraly struck out nine and walked one, tossing a three-hitter for the Bluejays (6-1, 4-0 ITCL2). Zaina Sahli had three hits, including a double, and Caitlyn Carney had four hits and four RBIs. Kiraly and Madison Tomaino each added two hits.

Alli Mapel had a double two RBIs for United. Krista McCartney struck out six.

LEETONIA

For Leetonia, Paige Eckman had three hits, including a double, and Bethany Basich added two hits. Emily Magill had three hits, including two doubles, with two RBIs. Jessica Montella singled, doubled and drove in two and Jenna Golden had two hits for McDonald

Salem 8, West Branch 7

BELOIT

Kaylin Wood’s three-run double in the seventh inning sparked the Quakers’ rally. With two outs, Salem scored seven times to take the lead. For the Quakers (2-6, 2-1 Northeastern Buckeye Conference), Morgan Crosser’s four hits included a triple and double. She scored twice and drove in two runs. Also with doubles were Sarah Smith, Katie McDevitt and Kaylin Wood. For the Warriors (3-4, 2-1), R. Rito had three hits including a triple. B. McElwain also had a triple.

Mathews 6, Southington 2

SOUTHINGTON

Tabby Granelly and Hollie Shreves each had two hits and two RBIs for Mathews (3-1), which broke the game open with a four-run seventh. Jessica Marsico had two RBIs and Natalie Halavick scored twice while Cheyenne Eggens struck out 12 in relief.

Lordstown 4, Bristol 1

BRISTOLVILLE

Hailey Toporcer (3-3) struck out five to get the win. Sami Heverly had three singles and Kansas Lickwar two for Lordstown.
