Boardman-based company acquires portion of business

Ray Kashmiry, president of R. Kashmiry and Associates Inc., recently announced the company has acquired a portion of business from Consolidated Benefits Agency Inc. of Akron.

R. Kashmiry and Associates Inc. is a health-care benefit company based in Boardman.

As part of the move, Renata Ochsenhirt will join the company and will be in charge of the Akron/Canton area while managing the acquired block of business. Ochsenhirt’s title will be account executive of group and individual sales.

R. Kashmiry and Associates was established in 1978. For the past 21 years, it has represented statewide group organizations and is the exclusive marketing company for the Home Builders Association/Building Industry Association of Ohio Healthcare Alliance.

The corporate offices for R. Kashmiry and Associates are at 250 DeBartolo Place, Suite 2550. The company has additional regional sales offices in Akron, Elyria and Columbus.
