Betty White’s career renaissance continues tonight when the 90-year-old’s prank show “Betty White’s Off Their Rockers” begins its regularly scheduled run (8 p.m. on NBC). White, of course, is best remembered for her roles as Rose on “The Golden Girls” and Sue Ann on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” but the actress’s TV r sum also includes several less than lovingly remembered series. Take these five:
v “Ladies Man” (1999-2001): Alfred Molina starred in the title role. He wasn’t a Don Juan, but rather he was the only man in a household of women — a wife, two daughters and mother (the latter played by White).
v “Maybe This Time” (1995-96): In this comedy, White played the mother of a divorcee (Marie Osmond). Future late-night host Craig Ferguson played their cook.
v “The Betty White Show” (1977-78): When “MTM” ended, White got her own (much less successful) sitcom. She played a movie actress offered a TV role on a cop series directed by her ex-husband. (“MTM” co-star Georgia Engel was also part of the ensemble.)
v “Date With the Angels” (1957-58): Comedy about a new bride and her insurance-salesman husband.
v “Life With Elizabeth” (1953-55): White’s first show was a local Los Angeles sitcom that eventually would be syndicated nationally. Each half-hour featured three separate episodes in the life of a married couple.
“One Tree Hill” (8 p.m., The CW): It began with a basketball grudge match between two half-brothers who eventually bonded. Now, nine seasons, 187 episodes and countless heart-tugging moments later, “One Tree Hill” bids farewell with a two-hour series finale. Have the tissues handy.
“Best Friends forever” (8:30 P.M., NBC): “Best Friends Forever” is a new sitcom featuring Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham as long-time pals who live on opposite sides of the country. That is, until one is served with divorce papers, falls into a funk and moves in with the other.

Network extends Letterman contract
NEW YORK
CBS announced Tuesday that late-night stars David Letterman and Craig Ferguson will be sticking with their respective hours — “Late Show” and “The Late Late Show” — through 2014.
The new deal means Letterman would become the longest-running, late-night talk-show host in TV history, surpassing Johnny Carson’s record of 30 years at the “Tonight” show. Letterman, who turns 65 next week, began on NBC in 1982 with “Late Night” before switching to CBS in 1993. The Scottish-born Ferguson, 49, took over “The Late Late Show” in 2005.
