CANFIELD
Feb. 16: A possible burglary of a gold necklace was reported at a home on Timber Run. The owner said workers had been in the house.
March 23
Criminal trespass: Police arrested a 14-year-old male juvenile for criminal trespassing at a city address.
March 26
Drug abuse: Police charged Tyler Welsh, 19, of 136 Dearborn St., Girard, with possession of drug paraphernalia, including rolling papers and a grinder, and drug abuse of marijuana.
March 27
Drugs: Police charged Joel Calderon, 19, of Indianapolis, with falsification and Johnathan Vasquez, 19, also of Indianapolis, with possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse after their arrest in the city.
March 29
Warrant: Police arrested Abdul Artist, 37, of 1644 Ohio Ave., Youngstown, on a warrant out of Youngstown on a falsification charge.
March 30
Drug abuse: Police charged Nicholas Fedoruk, 21, of 912 Indiana Ave., McDonald, with drug abuse of marijuana after his arrest in the city.
March 31
Warrant: Police arrested Lucius Coleman, 18, of Streetsboro, on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant for failure to appear.
Warrant: Police arrested Sarah Oaks, 18, of 4624 Fitzgerald Ave., Austintown, on a warrant out of Austintown.

March 26
Theft: A Coach purse was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 6000 block of Lake Avenue.
Theft: Tires and wheels were stolen from an auto at Friendly’s property, 4702 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Tractor implements were stolen at a home in the 5000 block of Silica Road.
Breaking and entering: A new Craftsman leaf blower was stolen from a home in the 50 block of South Edgehill Avenue.
Recovered property: A rear Ohio license-plate was recovered at the police station.
Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted text messages were reported at a home in the 1000 block of Woodland Trace.
Menacing: Threatening emails were sent to the owner of Cerni Motors, 5751 Cerni Place.
Fraud: A car was purchased on the Internet and paid for through Western Union, but the car was never turned over at a home in the 100 block of North Raccoon Road.
March 27
Theft: Police issued a summons to Hope Mogg, 35, of 124 W. Dennick Ave., Youngstown, for the reported theft of $149.90 of Protege shorts and possession of drug paraphernalia at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: Two lawnmowers, a boom and blade were taken from an unattached garage in the 2000 block of South Meridian Road.
Theft: An Xbox was taken from a home in the 300 block of North Turner Road.
Domestic violence: Police charged Roger Johnson, 44, of 1299 Cavalcade Drive with the crime.
Assault: A victim told police he was assaulted by four males at Woodhurst and Bexley drives.
Disturbance: A disturbance was reported at an apartment in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.
March 28
Burglary: An unlocked apartment was entered and a television and PlayStation3 were taken from an apartment in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Forgery: A signature was forged on loan papers at a home in the 1000 block of South Turner Road.
Warrant: Henry Garner,48, of 3531 Hillman, Apt. 304, Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply, attempted possession of drugs at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: A press box was entered forcibly at Libby Field, 5280 W. Radio Road.
Felonious assault: A male was struck by a vehicle door intentionally in the 4000 block of Oakwood Ave.
Theft: A cellphone was stolen at Blue Mobile Solutions, 5507 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: There were no signs of forced entry in a burglary at a home in the 2000 block of North Main Street.
March 29
Criminal damaging: A window was broken at a home in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: Three transactions totaling $900 were reported at Home Savings and Loan, 4259 Kirk Road.
Criminal damaging: Damage to a vehicle was reported at a home in the 6000 block of Berry Blossom Drive.
Breaking and entering: Two radios were taken from a garage in the 100 block of Idaho Road.
Theft: A lawn mower was taken from a home in the 1000 block of Four Mile Run Road.
Theft: A white tailgate was taken from a home in the 1000 block of Cavalcade Drive.
Menacing: A male was threatened by two males at a home in the 4000 block of Timberbrook Drive.
Theft: Police arrested Trisha Terlecky, 62, of 7335 West Blvd., Boardman for theft of $141.99 in groceries at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Fraud: Unauthorized purchases were reported at a home in the 600 block of Mallard Court.
Burglary: Forced entry was gained through a window in a burglary at a home in the 900 block of Ohltown Road.
Warrant: Police arrested Richard Rayford, 27, no address listed, on a warrant for breaking and entering and possession of criminal tools.
Telecommunications harassment: Calls and text messages were reported at a home in the 1000 block of Old Farm Trail.
March 30
Drug offense: Police charged Sarah Ann Armeni, 18, of 667 Garland Drive, with possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana at Shotz, 3718 Oakwood Ave.
Theft: A vehicle-exhaust system was stolen from an auto parked at Impact Property, 856 Ohltown Road.
Auto theft: A 2010 Dodge Caliber was stolen at Certified Oil, 825 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Recovered property: A bicycle was recovered at a home in the 5000 block of Virginia Drive.
Identity fraud: A Twitter account was opened in the victim’s name at a home in the 5000 block of Cider MiIl Run.
Felonious assault: A male struck a female with a vehicle at Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Attempted breaking and entering: Two juveniles were arrested in an attempted breaking and entering at the former Austintown Middle School, 5800 Mahoning Ave.
March 31
Domestic violence: Police charged Mathew Thoennes, 24, of 3752 Frederick St., with the crime.
Theft: $500 to $700 was taken from a purse at Wylie Coyote, 4176 Mahoning Ave.
Lost or stolen property: A black leather wallet was lost or stolen at Giant Eagle,5220 Mahoning Ave.
Domestic violence: Police charged Daniyal Mir, 25, of 9698 Raccoon Road, Apt. 6, with the crime.
Counterfeit currency: More than $1,900 was spent on electronics using counterfeit currency at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: Police arrested Misti Campbell, 24, of 5110 Willowcrest Ave., on a warrant for failure to appear on a drug-abuse charge.
Disturbance: Numerous males were fighting, one was possibly struck by a vehicle, and damage was done to Economy Inn, in the parking lot of the Go-Go Girls Cabaret, 5455 Clarkins Drive.
Theft: Unauthorized charges were made on a debit card after a wallet was lost at O’Donold’s Pub, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Assault: A 12-year-old was pushed by another juvenile on an Austintown Middle School bus.
Drug abuse: Police charged Kadeem Gilmore, 22, of 4841 Westchester Drive, Apt. 30, with possession of marijuana after his arrest at Ultra Shine, 1432 S. Raccoon Road.
Warrant: Police arrested Sarah Oaks, 18, of 4624 Fitzgerald Ave., on a warrant for misuse of a credit card and theft.
Bomb threat: A bomb threat was reported at Walmart. The store was evacuated, but nothing was found.
Assault: A suspect is accused of assault at a home in the 6000 block of Callaway Circle.
April 1
Theft: Police say they have a suspect in a theft from an auto parked at a home in the 3000 block of Lynhaven Road.
Burglary: Police say they have a suspect in a burglary at a home in the 3000 block of Lynhaven Road.
Assault: A victim of assault at Privilege Nite Club, 1743 S. Raccoon Road was taken to the hospital.
Summons: Police issued a summons to Chris Lashawn, 24, of 2518 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, for taunting a police dog at the Wedgwood Plaza, 1749 S. Raccoon Road.
Burglary: Several items were taken from an apartment in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.
Criminal trespassing: Police charged Francis Whalen, 25, of 1021 Washington St., Farrell, Pa., for criminal trespassing and resisting arrest at Privilege Nite Club, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.
Telecommunication harassment: Harassing telecommunications were received from an accused suspect at a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.
Warrant: Police arrested Mindy Sierra, 30, of 716 Spring St., Niles, on a warrant for theft.
Theft: A phone was taken from the bar at O’Donold’s.
Theft: Car keys and tools were taken from an auto parked at Economy Inn, 1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
