Poland Library Friends plan Tuesday meeting

Friends of the Poland Library will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the library. Susan Summers and Loretta Ekoniak, instrumental in compiling “The History of the Slovak People of the Mahoning Valley,” will be the featured speakers.

Before the program, coffee and refreshments will be served.

The Friends will be taking reservations for their May 1 Luncheon and Vintage Fashion Show, which will feature a buffet lunch catered by Kravitz Delicatessen. The cost is $14 and checks should be made payable to Friends of the Poland Library and mailed to Gloria Rule, 6695 Clingan Road, Unit 34, Poland OH 44514. The deadline for reservations is April 18.

The public is always invited to all activities of Poland Friends. Donations of books, DVDs and magazines for the Poland book cart are accepted at all meetings.
