Boil alert issued for parts of Canfield

The city issued a precautionary boil alert for residents on several streets due to a waterline break.

Residents on South Hillside, Carriage Hill and Janet drives, as well as those who live in Carriage Hill Apartments, are advised to boil their water until 1 p.m. Saturday.

Those affected should boil water for at least one minute, this includes water used for drinking, ice-making, cooking and oral hygiene.
