No word if judge will release Anthony jail videos

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A hearing to determine whether jailhouse video of Casey Anthony reacting to news that her daughter’s remains had been found in 2008 adjourned without a Florida judge deciding if he will release it.

An attorney for Orlando television station WKMG argued today that the video is a public record. Anthony’s lead attorney Jose Baez contends it is protected under medical privacy laws because she was given drugs to help calm her down at the time.

There is no indication when Judge Belvin Perry will make his decision.

The tape has been sealed since June 2009 because of fears it would affect Anthony’s ability to receive a fair trial.

Anthony was acquitted in July of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony, but found guilty on three counts of lying to police.
