Boardman schedules fire safety day

The township fire department will have its annual Fire Safety Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 8. The event will include tours of the fire station, a live burn demonstration, fire extinguisher training, the smoke house and extrication demonstrations. Children also will receive free helmets, stickers and coloring books.
