Open events set for Mr. Emerick, Miss Hennessey

CANFIELD

Russell and Kathryn Adams of Canfield are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Sarah Kathryn Hennessey of Hudson, to Victor Emil Emerick of Canfield, son of the late Douglas Emerick and Jud and Bella Brenteson of Kodiak, Alaska.

The couple will exchange vows in an open ceremony at 1 p.m. Oct. 22 in Trinity United Methodist Church, Youngstown, and receive guests in an open reception afterward, also in the church.

The bride-elect is director of youth ministries at Hudson United Methodist Church after earning a bachelor’s degree in music education at Youngstown State University.

The prospective groom, who served five years in the Navy, is attending YSU.
