Beatitude House dedication event

ASHTABULA

Beatitude House, sponsored by the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown, is having a dedication ceremony at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the former St. Joseph Elementary School, 3404 Lake Ave., Ashtabula, which will be renovated to house 10 homeless families.

Work is expected to begin this month, with families scheduled to move in during spring.

Funding for the project comes from the Federal Home Loan Bank through a partnership with Farmers National Bank, the Ashtabula Foundation, the Conneaut Foundation, the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown, Northwest Savings Bank, the Frank & Pearl Gelbman Foundation, Davis International and many individual donors, including Joe and Mary Kay DelPriore, Ashtabula residents who were instrumental in bringing Beatitude House to Ashtabula.
