Youngstown author back for book release
YOUNGSTOWN
Youngstown native Kim Hight, who now lives in Columbus, will return to the city to release her book of inspirational poetry, “Let Me Flow to Your Soul,” with a party today at the B&O, 530 Mahoning Ave.
The party will take place from 2 to 5 p.m., and admission is free. Red-carpet photos will be $5, and vendors, entertainment and refreshments will be featured.
Hight is a graduate of East High School and Youngstown State University.
Book group starting at Leetonia library
LEETONIA
Leetonia Community Public library is starting a book discussion group and will have a planning meeting at 10 a.m. Oct. 5 at the library.
The library also has planned a fall tea for 2:30 p.m. Oct. 8 for age 5 and older. J
ody Lewis will present a program on pioneer life. Light refreshments will be provided.
