SENIOR CITIZENS


Retirees of Commercial Intertech will meet at noon Tuesday at St. Mark’s Fellowship Hall on Logan Way, Youngstown. Lou Pizzuto will reside. Reports will be given by Gloria Wielbruda and Roberta Shick. Luncheon hostesses are Wielbruda and Lynn Arquila. All retires are welcome. To report illnesses, call Connie DiPiero at 300-726-2340.

Liberty Friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Liberty Presbyterian Church for fellowship, cards and games. Take a sack lunch. Coffee will be provided.

Lowellville Senior Citizens monthly meeting will be Friday in Lowellville City Hall Conference Room. President Ernie Ciarniello will preside. A sloppy joe lunch will be provided by Phyllis Nolfi, Gianna’s Catering. For reservations, call Janet Davanzo at 330-793-3176. Volunteers are reminded to take cakes for dessert. October birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged. Bingo and a 50-50 raffle will follow the meeting. Members are asked to take a donation for a gift basket to be presented to sick or shut-in members. Any illness or death should be reported to Mary Mascarella, sunshine chairwoman, at 330-536-8748.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Barbara Burnside will give the devotions. There will be a pizza party at noon. For information call 330-549-0183.

Sts. Peter and Paul Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ukrainian Center. Ann Smith will preside, and reports will be given by Pat Hoffman and Laura Dulay. Lunch will be served by Clara Sefner and Mary Goncy, and $6 will be collected for the Christmas party.
