SHADYSIDE

A 78-yard kickoff return for a touchdown got Shadyside on the board first and with a 35-7 halftime lead, it never looked back. Southington’s Jordan Dickey and Connor Oakford ran for 78 and 62 yards, respectively. In the third quarter, Dickey scored on a 68-yard scamper. Quarterback Kyle Reynolds was 6-for-11 through the air and racked up 117 yards.
