Brennans celebrate 50th anniversary with family dinner

A family dinner at Springfield Grille in Boardman Aug. 27 marked the 50th wedding anniversary of William J. and Lori Brennan of Poland.

Hosting the 5 p.m. event were their children, William J. III of Virginia Beach, Va.; Jeannie Marchionda of Loveland, Ohio; Ted Brennan and Anne Marie Raymer, both of Poland; and Michael Brennan of North Canton.

Twelve grandchildren complete the family.

Mr. Brennan and the former Lori Ferguson were married Aug. 26, 1961, in St. Mary Church in New London, Conn.

Mrs. Brennan is a homemaker. Mr. Brennan, who is an Army veteran, worked for Youngstown-Mahoning Valley United Way 40 years, serving 30 as president, before retiring in June 2000. He also is a part-time faculty member at Youngstown State University.

The couple are members and volunteers at Holy Family Church and volunteer with many nonprofit organizations in the community.
