Boardman dinner marks 65 years for Mr., Mrs. Ross

EAST PALESTINE

Francis and Irene Ross of East Palestine celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner Aug. 28 at T.J.’s Restaurant at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.

Their children, Bonnie (Ron) Novak of East Palestine, Fran (Cathy) Ross of Negley and Chris (George) Sultan of Youngstown hosted the 2 p.m. event.

Five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren complete the family.

Mr. Ross and the former Irene Rafferty were married Aug. 24, 1946, in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, where they are members.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Ross are retired from the Kenmar Division of Ethan Allen in East Palestine. Mr. Ross is a World War II Army veteran, and the couple are members of the East Palestine Country Club.
