SYRACUSE, N.Y.

Syracuse cornerback Kevyn Scott made an interception in the end zone on the first play of overtime and Ross Krautman kicked four field goals. It was the third straight loss to a BCS team for Toledo (1-3) and the third straight home win for Syracuse (3-1). The Orange won their second OT game this season. Syracuse gained a 30-27 lead on Ryan Nassib’s 18-yard lob to Alec Lemon at the back of the end zone. Officials reviewed the extra point by Krautman, which appeared on a replay to be wide but was allowed to stand. Ryan Casano’s 20-yard field goal on the final play of regulation sent the game into the extra period.

B.J. Daniels threw for 202 yards and ran for 130 more. Daniels scored on a 71-yard run on the Bulls’ second offensive play and threw touchdown passes of 54 and 18 yards to Lindsey Lamar.
