Zombies can ride to Pa. before Crawl

YOUNGSTOWN

Covelli Centre and Rust Belt Brewing are helping the city reach its goal of doubling last year’s Zombie Crawl attendance by sponsoring a promotional tour to World Zombie Day in Pittsburgh on Oct. 8.

The Zombie Crawl will be Oct. 22 in downtown Youngstown. Last year, the event drew 900 people.

World Zombie Day is organized to create record-setting zombie walks and to collect donations for food banks.

Along with bringing food, the Youngstown Zombie bus will be armed with fliers and T-shirts promoting the Youngstown Zombie Crawl.

Tickets are $15. The bus will leave Covelli Centre at 11 a.m. and return at 7 p.m. Participants will get a free Zombie Crawl T-shirt and Rust Belt beverages (must be 21).

Tickets can be purchased at the downtown Buffalo Wild Wings; The Lemon Grove, 122 W. Federal St.; Inner Circle Pizza on Lincoln Avenue; and The Royal Oaks, 924 Oak St.
