Aug. 24

Aggravated menacing: An unknown male threatened to kill everyone at the bank at Woodforest Bank, 6001 Mahoning Ave., calling in two days in a row.

Warrant: Kyle Sheridan, 19, of 622 Notre Dame Ave. was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear to reinstate his Ohio driver’s license.

Attempted theft: A catalytic converter was cut on an auto at a home in the 60 block of Westminister Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized transactions were reported at a home in the 5000 block of Cider MiIl Crossing.

Drug offense: Marijuana plants, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were recovered from an apartment in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court. The tenant said they belonged to her ex-boyfriend who is moving out.

Theft: $59.89 in fuel was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Menacing: An employer threatened an ex-employee at Belleria Pizza, 3460 S. Meridian Road.

Theft: A generator was stolen from an auto at the Hampton Inn, 880 N.Niles-Canfield Road.

Assault: A woman claims to have been struck at the Hampton Inn, 880 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Lost or stolen plate: Jamie Wetzl, 27, of 9220 Mahoning Ave., North Jackson was arrested in connection with theft of her sister’s license plate.

Warrant: Alphonso West,42, of 1644 Manhattan St., Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for theft, and was also charged with drug abuse of marijuana at Mahoning Ave. and Meridian Road.

Assault: Two suspects fled in a white Ford after an assault at the Babylon, 114 Javit Court.

Theft: Money was taken and an employee was involved at McDonald’s, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Aug. 25

Theft: Kayla Cramer, 18, of 3808 Cannon Road was arrested in the theft of women’s shirts valued at $40.57 at Dots, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: An iPhone was stolen from an auto at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Recovered property: A bicycle was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Frederick Street.

Criminal damaging: A window was broken at a home in the 4000 block of New Hampshire Court.

Liquor violation: John Arcuri, 28, of 2922 Warren Ave., McDonald was charged with possession of an open container, a bottle of beer, in the 3000 block of Oakwood Ave.

Aug. 26

Recovered property: An Ohio license was recovered at Pilot, 1150 N.Niles-Canfield Road.

Recovered property: A GPS was recovered in the 5000 block of New Road.

Domestic violence: Lisa Zalner,, 36, of 874 E. Lucius Ave.,Youngstown was arrested for criminal trespassing and Randall Aliff, 55, of 131 N. Kimberly No. 61 was arrested for domestic violence at an apartment in the 100 block of N. Kimberly Ave.

Theft: A debit card was left at the ATM and $100 was taken at Home Savings and Loan, 4259 Kirk Road.

Burglary: 125 feet of copper pipe was taken from a home in the 900 block of Collins Street. There were no signs of forced entry.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle mirror was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Oakwood Avenue.

Aug. 27

Drug offense: James Tibella, 32, of 7815 Canfield-Akron Road, was arrested for marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia and Jacob Kuzan, 25, 1005 Compass West, Apt. 4, was arrested for possession of marijuana at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Drive.

Drug offense: Tyler Stevens, 18, of 144 N. Navarre Ave., was issued a summons for possession of marijuana at St. Elizabeth’s, 6252 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: Nick Stipcianos, 20, of 3837 Oakleigh Ave., was issued a summons for possession of marijuana at Mahoning Ave. and Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Brandon Blanchard, 24, of 4481 Deer Creek Court, No. 2 was arrested on a warrant for misuse of a credit card.

Telecommunications harassment: A suspect is accused of making harassing phone calls to a home in the 3000 block of Frederick Street.

Theft: A Blackberry, charger and MP3 wire were stolen from an auto in the 4000 block of New Road.

Theft: Medication was stolen from a home in the 50 block of Idaho Road.

Aug. 28

Domestic violence: Andrew Vick, 32, of 3091‚Ñ2 N. Four Mile Run Road, was arrested on a domestic violence charge.

Domestic violence: A 15-year-old male was arrested on a felonious assault and domestic violence charge at 4566 Woodhurst Drive, and taken to the juvenile justice center.

Burglary: $6,000 in cash, jewelry and a silencer were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Avalon Court.

Theft: Three laptops and $740 in cash were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.

Lost or stolen wallet: A wallet and contents was lost or stolen at Pilot, 1150 N.Canfield-Niles Road.

Aggravated robbery: Tyler Stevens,18, of 14 N. Navarre Ave., was arrested for attempting to rob Huntington Bank, 5220 Mahoning Ave. with his finger. He said he was kidding.

Breaking and entering: Copper was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Black Oak Lane.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Domestic violence: Edward Ehrhart, 44, of 2382 Penny Lane, and James Ehrhart, 37, same address, were arrested on domestic violence charges.

Attempted theft: The driver’s side window was damaged on an auto at a home in the 4000 block of Patricia Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A car was scratched at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Burglary: Frankie Lockett, 20, of 919 Main St., NW, Warren, was arrested on a charge of burglary at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Breaking and entering: A home was broken into in the 3000 block of Black Oak Lane.

Burglary: A television, shotgun, rifles and fishing equipment were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Monaca Avenue.

Theft: Aleshia Hamady, 50, of 777 Salt Springs Road, Warren, was issued a summons for theft at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave., for allegedly stealing two cartons of cigarettes.

Telecommunications harassment: An unknown male was making harassing calls to Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Fernando Gutierrez, 50, of Westgate Motel, 4493 Mahoning Ave., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a disorderly conduct charge.

Theft: A cellphone was reported stolen at Regal Cinema, 6020 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Two boxes of cigarettes were taken from an auto in the 5000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Theft: A camera was stolen from a home in the 1000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A check was stolen and later cashed for $140 at a home in the 1000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Burglary: Copper was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Vollmer Drive.

Warrant: Christopher Sharp Sr., 37, of 1024 Hawthorne St., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant charging domestic violence.

Fraud: A credit card was opened in the victim’s name at a home in the 1000 block of N. Four Mile Run Road.

Burglary: An Xbox and jewelry were stolen from a home in the 900 block of Collins Street.

Criminal damaging: Damage to a hot tub and cover was reported at a home in the 5000 block of DePauw Avenue.

Theft: A firebox with a .45-caliber handgun and papers were stolen from a home in the 500 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Theft: A purse was located after being stolen at J.C. Penney, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Auto theft: A 2008 Honda motorcycle was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Detergent was stolen at Giant Eagle.

Theft: An electric fireplace was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Frostwood Drive.

Sept. 1

Auto theft: A 1994 Subaru was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Recovered property: A jacket, bag with coupons, a vehicle console, vehicle key and miscellaneous other items were found in the backyard of a home in the 3000 block of Ayrshire Drive.

Theft: $5 was taken from an auto at a home in the 3000 block of Ayrshire Drive.

Theft: An Ohio temporary tag was taken from an auto at a home in the 400 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Two bicycles were taken from a home in the 3000 block of Eigen Street.

Assault: A female was assaulted by another female at a home in the 4000 block of Viall Road.

Criminal damaging: A tenant damaged property of a rental unit in the 2000 block of Bainbridge Street.

Criminal damaging: A rear window was broken out of a vehicle at Mahoning Avenue and state Route 46.

Sept. 2

Recovered property: A gun and papers in a safety deposit box were recovered at Huntington Bank, 6010 Mahoning Ave. The box was not paid for.

Drug offense: Terrance Warren, 28, of 877 Landsdowne Ave. NW, Warren, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and Terrance Green, 32, of 880 Front St., SW, Warren, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana at Mahoning Avenue and Idaho Road.

Sept. 3

Warrant: Four juveniles were arrested for curfew violation in a car parked by the bike trail after the driver was arrested on a warrant for violation of a court order in the 5000 block of Country Trail.

Theft: Timothy Howard, 39, of 8413 Captain Drive, Avon, Ind., was arrested for allegedly stealing copper from a transformer after cutting down a utility pole in the 600 block of N. Raccoon Road. He was charged with possession of criminal tools, theft and disrupting public service.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle tire was damaged at a home in the 700 block of Notre Dame Drive.

Breaking and entering: A shed door and a trash can were stolen at a home in the 3000 block of Idlewood Road.

Sept. 4

Disorderly conduct: Gary Stanke, 33, of 17633 Lundys Lane, Lake Milton, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at the Go-Go Cabaret parking lot, 5455 Clarkins Drive.

Drug offense: Rhyn Sponaugle, 18, of 3820 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons on a drug offense at Chipper’s parking lot, 5 N. Edgehill Ave., for possession of marijuana.

Auto theft: A 1995 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen at Hillbrook Apartments, in the 400 block of S. Raccoon Road and recovered in Youngstown.

Theft: A credit/debit card was stolen after being left in the ATM at the Associated School Employees Credit Union, 1690 S. Raccoon Road.

Domestic violence: Stefanie Torsky, 36, of 1305 Cedarwood Drive, Mineral Ridge, was arrested on a domestic violence charge.

Warrant: Jenna Bonetti, 19, of 1080 Compass West, was arrested on a warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle at Burkey Road and Western Place.

Burglary: Numerous medications and cash were taken from an apartment in the 1000 block of Fountain Square Drive.

Sept. 5

Criminal damaging: A vehicle windshield was damaged at a home in the 30 block of E. Liberty Street.

Attempted breaking and entering: A south stock room door was damaged at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A rear Ohio license plate was stolen off a car in the 1000 block of Compass West parking lot.

Sept. 6

Burglary: Change was taken from a home in the 3000 block of Maple Spring Drive.

Theft: A CB radio was stolen out of a semi in the parking lot at TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: Video games, shorts, and a knife were stolen from inside the store at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Burglary: Forced entry was made into an attached garage and Vicodin was stolen at a home in the 4000 block of Maureen Drive.

Theft: Kenisha Jacobs, 19, of 3019 Canfield Road, Apt. 10 was arrested on a charge of theft and contributing to the unruliness of a minor at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Domestic dispute: A 15-year-old male juvenile was arrested for domestic violence at an apartment in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Burglary: Numerous items were stolen in a burglary at a home in the 1000 block of Marcia Drive. Forced entry was made through the basement.

Breaking and entering: Copper was stolen from an unoccupied home in the 2000 block of Oak Trace. The home was entered by force.

Warrant: Dennis Durrett Jr., 39, of 3877 New Road was arrested on two unspecified warrants.

Warrant: Maria Carkido, 31, of 7637 Glenwood Ave., Boardman was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on a traffic charge at S. Meridian Road and Canfield Road.

Assault: A victim was punched at O’Donold’s, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Attempted burglary: A small hole was cut in a rear screen door at a home in the 3000 block of Monaca Avenue.

Forgery: Checks were forged at PNC Bank, 4949 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A portable DVD player and a prescription were stolen from an auto at a home in the 6000 block of Stoneyridge Drive.

Theft: Money was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at a home in the 6000 block of S. Timberidge Drive.

Theft: A CD player and pills were stolen from an unlocked vehicle at a home in the 6000 block of Timberidge Drive.

Fraud: A checking account was opened in the victim’s business name and two checks were cashed at Farmers Bank, 22 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Criminal damaging: A window pane was smashed and a screen bent at a home in the 100 block of S. Edgehill Avenue.

Theft: A GPS and money were taken out of a vehicle at a home in the 5000 block of New Road.

Sept. 8

Weapons offense: Matthew Santiago, 30, 391 Coitsvllle Road, Campbell, was arrested on a charge of drug abuse for possession of marijuana and carrying a concealed weapon at N. Four Mile Run Road and Mahoning Avenue.

Assault: A victim was assaulted by two unknown females at Bills’ Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Money was reported taken from a dresser drawer at a home in the 5000 block of W. Webb Road.

Breaking and entering: Entry was gained through a garage and a safe was removed from a vehicle at a home in the 3000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Lost or stolen property: A men’s wallet with an Ohio license and $380 in cash were stolen at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A driver’s side window of a vehicle was broken and nothing was taken at a home in the 1000 block of Orkney Avenue.

Fraud: A company was paid $3,020 by the victim but never performed the services paid for at a home in the 3000 block of Staatz Drive.

Breaking and entering: A window was broken and entry was gained with copper pipe stolen at a home in the 1000 block of Parkgate Ave.

Drug offense: William Reiford, 25, of 810 Walnut St., S.E., Massillon, was arrested for obstructing official business and Michael Snively, 28, of 416 Sandy Ave., N.E., Massillon, was charged with possession of marijuana at Club 76, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

Attempted breaking and entering: A basement window was broken out of a home in the 4000 block of Barrington Drive.

Aggravated menacing: Menacing was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Walnut Trace.

Bad check: A bad check for $14,259.55 was used to purchase a vehicle at Fred Martin Ford, 4701 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A “Private Pond” sign was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of Herons Boulevard.

Theft: An employee is accused of taking $750 from a register at J.C. Penney, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: An Ohio driver’s license was taken and recovered by Liberty Twp. police.

Theft: A skid steer was stolen from a driveway in the 400 block of N. Raccoon Road.

Sept. 10

Disorderly conduct: Mathew Weatherholt, 21, of 25 Manchester Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons charging disorderly conduct in the 3000 block of Oakwood Avenue.

Warrant: Brian Schaffer, 44, of 4405 Plumbrook Drive, Canfield, was arrested on a warrant for complicity to criminal damaging and complicity to menacing.

Theft: $179 in cash was taken from a vehicle at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: A window was broken out of a truck and miscellaneous items and tools were taken in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Burglary: A vacant house was entered and copper pipe was cut out in the 1000 block of Idaho Road.

Theft: Two checks totaling $1,000 were cashed by a suspect in the 5000 block of W. Viola Drive.

Criminal damaging: Eight landscaping lights were damaged at a home in the 2000 block of Vollmer Drive.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted text messages were received at a home in the 3000 block of Bryant Drive.

Warrant: Dale Egenlauf, 32, of 241 Arabella St., Pittsburgh, Pa., was arrested on a warrant for telecommunications harassment and issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged by juveniles at a home in the 30 block of N. Raccoon Road.

Burglary: Gold chains and Vicodin were stolen at a home in the 40 block of South Turner Road.

Identity theft: A Dominion East Ohio account was opened in the name of a victim who lives in the 100 block of South Inglewood Avenue.

Theft: Tools were taken from an auto parked at the Hampton Inn, 880 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Jason Drageovich, no information available, in 400 block of Idlewood Road on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Sept. 13

Theft: A wallet was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Recovered property: A 26-inch Roadmaster bicycle was recovered at a home in the 3000 block of Spring Meadow.

Theft: An AM-FM-CD player was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 4000 block of New Hampshire Court.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Thomas Nash, 36, of Cincinnati for theft at Walmart, 6000 Mahoning Ave. He is accused of stealing a belt.

Sept. 14

Vehicle theft: A 1989 GMC truck was stolen in the 4000 block of Victoria Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Tim Brooke, 24, of 8205 Meadowood Drive, Canfield, in the 100 block of South Kimberly Avenue on a warrant for drug possession.

Warrant: Police arrested Kevin Williams, 23, of 61 S. Canfield-Niles Road, on a warrant of two counts of assault.

Menacing: Threats were made to the owner of a home in the 4000 block of Woodmere Drive.

Theft: Food was stolen at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave., and police arrested was Delbert Kellar, 37, 1012 Fifth St., Niles, who was issued a summons and then released to Trumbull County for a warrant in that county.

Warrant: Police arrested Christopher Hammer, 19, of 422 Second St., Warren, on a warrant for felonious assault.

Criminal trespassing: Police charged Brian C. Ward, 32, of 1030 Compass West Drive, Apt. 3, Youngstown, with criminal trespassing at Alfredo’s Pizza, 3120 S. Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Kimberly Bartlett, 39, of 1892 Paisley St., Youngstown, on a warrant for criminal damaging.

Theft: Money was withdrawn from an ATM account at First Place Bank, 3516 S. Meridian Road.

Burglary: Copper was stolen from a home in the 70 block of Placid Boulevard.

Criminal damaging: Rocks were thrown at a car with damage done to the door at South Raccoon Road and Mahoning Ave.

Auto theft: A 2006 Pontiac Vibe was stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Orkney Avenue, but it was recovered later on Bexley Drive.

Theft: An Ohio license plate was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Burglary: A copper waterline was stolen from a home in the 200 block of North Main Street.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Drug offense: Police charged Randall McGraw, 41, of 6608 Covington Cove, Canfield, with illegal processing of drug documents and permitting drug abuse, and charged George Ruckman, 34, of 1309 Vienna Road, Niles, with possession of an illegal drug document at Walgreen’s Pharmacy, 5501 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Patrons walked out on a food bill at Quaker Steak and Lube, 5800 Interstate Blvd.

Drug offense: Police charged Justin Szekely, 34, of 570 Forest St., NE, Warren, with drug abuse of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after his arrest in the parking lot of Club 76, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Angel Mendez, 29, of 659 N. Schenley Ave., Youngstown, in the 3000 block of Oakwood Avenue on a warrant and turned him over to Canfield police.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Ali Timm-Rouse, 23, of 8025 Meanderwood Drive, Canfield, for drug abuse and drug paraphernalia, and a summons to Benjamin Hoffman, 34, of Defiance, on a warrant for drug abuse of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They were arrested at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Ganel Boyers, 54, of 6270 Fairview Road, on a warrant for failure to appear twice on a suspension of Ohio license charge.
