Easy Street also is offering a musical-theater workshop beginning Saturday for children 4 through teens.
The classes will feature songs, dances and scenes from Little Rascals productions being developed for “101 Dalmatians — Kids” and an original show titled “Don’t Stop Believing,” featuring music from the television show “Glee.”
These age-specific workshops are for beginners as well as the more advanced and will take place in the Easy Street studio, next to Star Supply at 865 Mahoning Ave.
Participants will have the opportunity to be featured in “101 Dalmatians” this November, with Maureen Collins starring as Cruella De Vil.
On Sunday, Easy Street will have dance auditions for its annual Christmas spectacular, “Miracle on Easy Street.”
Dancers 10 years and older with a strong background in several different styles of dance, including tap, jazz, ballet and hip hop, are invited to audition.
Dancers may audition for both levels if they would like to be considered for advanced placement in the show.
Auditions are for dancers only and will be at Easy Street’s studio. Auditions for teens (age 10 to 15) will be at 1 p.m. for tap and 1:45 p.m. for jazz.
For those 16 and older, auditions will be at 3 p.m. for tap and 3:45 p.m. for jazz.
