Reserve now for spot at international economic summit at YSU next week

The public is invited to this year’s Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit, set for Sept. 27 and 28 at Youngstown State University’s Williamson College of Business.

The event is titled “APEC and Youngstown: A conversation on the global economy and its impact on Main Street USA,” and it will discuss how APEC countries and cities like Youngstown can compete in the 21st century.

Youngstown is one of four U.S. cities that will host a conference this year to prepare the global community for November’s APEC Leaders’ Summitt in Hawaii.

The event begins at 1 p.m. Sept 27 and runs through 1 p.m. Sept 28. Admission is free, but space is limited.
