Boardman dinner today for Palowitz 50th anniversary

YOUNGSTOWN

Ronald W. and Rita Palowitz of Youngstown are being honored today with a family party at Blue Wolf Banquet Center in Boardman to mark their 50th wedding anniversary.

The event is being hosted by their sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Cheryl Palowitz of Youngstown, Rick and Lori Palowitz of Hubbard and Rob and Crissa Palowitz of Boardman.

The couple also have seven grandchildren.

Mr. Palowitz and the former Rita Davanzo were married Sept. 16, 1961, in Holy Rosary Church, Lowellville. Mr. Palowitz, who is an Army veteran, retired in 1994 from East Ohio Gas Co. in Youngstown. The couple are members of St. Christine Church.
