Kathryn Gordon, Jonathan Uber to wed in Medina

Lowell and Kathy Gordon of Boardman are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kathryn Gordon, to Jonathan Uber, both of Louisville, Ohio.

Mr. Uber is the son of John and Rebecca Uber of Sharon Center, Ohio.

The couple will exchange vows at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 22 in Holy Martyrs Church in Medina and receive guests afterward at The Blair Center in Westfield Center.

The bride-elect is an optometrist for the Department of Veterans’ Affairs in Akron after earning a bachelor’s degree in zoology from Miami University of Ohio and a doctorate of optometry from the Ohio State University College of Optometry.

The prospective groom is vice president and sales manager for Anesthesia Specialties in Medina. He earned a degree in management and finance from Walsh University.
