Beginning Sept. 30, Kennywood Park will reopen for weekends through the Halloween season for its 10th season of Phantom Fright Nights.

New this year is Biofear, a scare zone that utilizes the setting of a scientific-testing laboratory where experiments have gone terribly wrong. Biofear is one of 10 haunts and scare zones. Several rides will also be running.

Phantom Fright Nights will be Friday and Saturday nights until the end of October, from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., with an additional night on Oct. 9. For more information, go to phantomfrightnights.com.

This weekend will be the last of the regular season at Kennywood, and all guests who buy a full-price admission ticket at the main gate Sunday will receive a free barbecue dinner to eat in the picnic grove. For more information, go to Kennywood.com.

The regular summer season FunDay price is $36.99 ($17.99 for seniors 55 and older; $23.99 for children 46” and under). After 5 p.m., NightRider tickets are $21.99 ($10.49 for seniors).
