International students to be welcomed

The public is invited to a welcome dinner for Youngstown State University international students at 5:30 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, 201 Wick Ave.
The event is being sponsored by UNA-USA Youngstown and the YSU Center for International Student Progress.
The dinner is free for YSU students with a valid student ID, and $10 for the public.
The United Nations Association of the United States of America Youngstown Chapter has been serving the Mahoning Valley since 1955.
Girl Scout troop plans Bowl-A-Thon

Girl Scout Troop 635 will have a Bowl-A-Thon from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Camelot Lanes, 628 Boardman-Canfield Road. Tickets cost $10 and include two games plus shoe rental.
Featured will be a basket auction, 50-50 raffle, games and more. Proceeds benefit the troop.
