Tech center hires new executive team
WARREN
The Tech Belt Energy Innovation Center announced Tuesday the hiring of a new executive team, now charged with developing the center into a nationally respected authority on energy alternatives.
Chris Mather of Eastlake, Ohio, was named chief executive of National Initiatives, and Dave Nestic of Salem was named chief executive of Regional Operations.
The two were hired after a nationwide search that began in the spring.
Mather has 25 years of technology-industry background in sales, marketing and general management, according to a news release.
Nestic has more 20 years of experience with technology-company formation, incubation and commercialization and technology economic development.
The tech center is a nonprofit organization committed to the advancement and commercialization of sustainable-energy technologies.
First National Bank announces hiring
CLEVELAND
First National Bank, the largest subsidiary of F.N.B. Corp., announced Tuesday the hiring of Barry K. Sullivan of Mentor, Ohio, as senior vice president of Asset Based Lending. Sullivan will be responsible for developing new business in Ohio for the bank’s Asset Based Lending Division.
Sullivan previously worked for Huntington National Bank in Cleveland where he served as senior regional director. Sullivan serves as a board member for the Commercial Finance Association in Cleveland.
Previously, he served as president of the Turnaround Management Association, also in Cleveland.
First National Bank of Pennsylvania has more than 230 full-service locations in Pennsylvania and Ohio, and loan production offices in Florida.
F.N.B. subsidiary hires executive
Hermitage, Pa.
F.N.B. Wealth Management, a subsidiary of First National Bank of Pennsylvania, announced Tuesday the hiring of David W. Spears, of New Castle, as vice president and regional team leader.
He will lead servicing efforts for wealth- management clients in the Bank’s Northwest Region, which includes Mercer, Lawrence, Butler, Venango, Crawford and Erie counties in Pennsylvania and Mahoning, Trumbull, Geauga and Lake counties in Ohio.
Spears has nearly 25 years of industry experience, most recently serving as senior managing consultant for the PFM Group.
Founded in 1999, F.N.B. Wealth Management has more than $3.4 billion in assets under management. F.N.B. Wealth Management includes First National Trust Company, First National Investment Services Company LLC, and F.N.B. Investment Advisors Inc.
It operates from 14 regional offices located throughout Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio.
