Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church. The menu will feature homemade baked chicken, salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread and butter, pie and beverage. Cost is $6.50, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. Pricetown Methodist Church, 4640 Pritchard-Ohltown Road, Newton Falls, will have a home-cooked pasta supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The meal will include meatballs, salad, homemade desserts, bread and beverage. St. Mark Church, 3560 Logan Way, Liberty, will be serving spaghetti dinners from 3 to 7 p.m. The cost is $5.99, and the meal includes meatballs, salad, rolls and butter, and dessert.

FRIDAY
Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi, while supplies last. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.
Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.
Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $5 a dozen. Orders should be placed early from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-746-9528, and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Hot lunches will be available beginning at 11 a.m. Friday.
Lordstown Christian Church’s 30th annual chicken dinner will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lordstown High School. A meal of chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetable, salad, homemade pies and cakes and beverage will be served for a cost of $8 for adults, $4 for children 12 and younger. Heritage Presbyterian Church, 1951 Mathews Road, corner of Sheridan Road, Youngstown, will have a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Cost is $7.50 for adults, $3.50 for children 6 to 12, and free for children 5 and younger.
Knights of Columbus Girard Council 2935 will have a steak fry from 6 to 9 p.m. at West Fork Roadhouse, 3850 Belmont Ave., Liberty. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children.
