YOUNGSTOWN

A 41-year-old Youngstown man was last reported to be in a state of unconsciousness, but he may be facing serious legal trouble when he revives.

Police responded to a motorcycle accident in the area of West Delason and Overland Avenue just after midnight Saturday. Officers found a blue 2007 Suzuki with no license plates in the road not far from an unconscious man and a female sitting on the ground, crying.

Police determined that the motorcycle had gone down, ejecting the man and woman. Both were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center for treatment.

Police determined that the motorcycle had been reported stolen out of Pennsylvania. The man’s driver’s license is also suspended and a doctor at the hospital recovered suspected crack cocaine from the man’s pockets while treating him.

Police say the man likely will be charged with failure to control, driving under suspension, receiving stolen property and drug abuse crack cocaine.
