Wolves Club to install Malito

YOUNGSTOWN

Gregory Malito, director of guidance for the Western Reserve School District, will be installed as president of the Wolves Club of Youngstown, Den VI, at a dinner Sept. 28 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church hall.

Inducted as his associate officers will be Anthony DeNiro, president-elect, Michael Baca, treasurer; Dr. Peter Chila, secretary; Bill Flask and Daniel Schiavone, board of directors; and Mark Taylor, scholarship committee.

Dr. Gary Bitonte, vice president for the National Association of Wolves, will conduct the installation ceremony.

The club distributed $47,600 during the past year, primarily for its scholarship programs at Youngstown State University and St. Elizabeth School of Nursing. The scholarship donations for the 2011-2012 academic year total $40,000 for YSU and $6,000 for the nursing school.

The local den has contributed more than $700,000 for scholarships and various community projects since it received its charter in 1953.
