9/11 coverage: On the 10th anniversary of 9/11, the airwaves will be jammed with news coverage of the day’s events, as well as in-depth commemorative programs, including “9/11: 10 Years Later” (8 p.m., CBS), “Making the 9/11 Memorial” (8 p.m., History), “The Twins of the Twin Towers” (9 p.m., OWN), and “Remembrance and Renewal: 10 Years After the 9/11 Attacks” (10 p.m., ABC). Not to be overlooked is this powerful film starring Oscar winner Melissa Leo as a flight attendant who suddenly finds herself serving as guardian to a 10-year-old Pakistani-American boy after their plane is grounded in Texas the morning of Sept. 11, 2001. When she discovers that his father works in the World Trade Center, they travel to New York City, learning lessons about tolerance, redemption and hope along the way. (9 p.m., USA).
“entourage” (10:30 P.M., HBO): It’s time to break up the brat pack. After hanging together in Hollywood for eight seasons, the fun-loving guys of “Entourage” bid farewell in what should be an emotional series finale. But don’t get too bummed out because a big-screen reunion is likely.

Main Street Theater offers comedy show

Main Street Theater, 5 N. Main St., will present a new “Main Street Madness” comedy show at 7:30 p.m. Friday, with additional shows at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sept. 18.
“Main Street Madness Gets Dys-Fun-tional” will include short sketches, video parodies and live music. The fourth in the series, it was written and is being directed by Jim Couchenour Jr. and Carla Sukosd. “Although our comedy is very much in the style of ‘Saturday Night Live’ and ‘The Carol Burnett Show’ of the ’70s, it is for all age groups, including children,” said Sukosd, “It makes for a fun, family night or a relaxing date night.” Tickets will be $10 at the door or $8 at brownpapertickets.com.
Wind ensemble in free concert
