Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., blood pressure checks and painting class ($5) at 9:30, bingo at 10, Ask the Social Worker, lunch and Wellness Monday at 11:30, flu shots this month, and intermediate computer at noon; Tuesday, computer practice at 9:30 a.m., Veterans Helping Veterans and Zumba at 10, bridge club at 10:30, lunch at 11:30, bingo at noon; and Dinner Club meets at Marinos for dinner for $9, which includes beverage, tax and tip. Reservation required, sign up at the center; Wednesday, Walking Club and health insurance information at 9 a.m., bingo at 10, and lunch at 11:30; Thursday, yoga at 9:30 a.m., balance class at 9:30, lunch at 11:30, and bingo at noon Business Expo, public invited, at 5 p.m. with health fair and screening for vision, hearing, blood pressure, BMI and medications; and Friday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., bingo at 10, discussion group at 10, lunch at 11:30 a.m. and beginners computer at noon. Niles Scope Senior Center, 14 E. State St., will offer flu shots, by appointment, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 27 for those age 19 and older. The shots are free for those covered under Medicaid, Medicare or Anthem Senior Advantage. Bring your ID cards. For all other HMOs, the cost is $20. To make an appointment, contact the center at 330-544-3676. The center also will celebrate September birthdays Sept. 21 with lunch at 11:30 a.m. and entertainment at noon, followed by bingo. The Happy tappers from Niles SCOPE Senior Center will perform “New York, New York” and Tony DeFore will sing. Cost for lunch only is $5.
