Sarah Getty, Jason Shine set wedding date

Sandra M. Getty of North Benton and Craig A. Getty of Salt Lake City are announcing the engagement and coming marriage of their daughter, Sarah Getty of Mineral City, to Jason Shine, also of Mineral City, son of Dixie and Jim Shine of Sandyville.

The couple will exchange vows in a late afternoon ceremony Oct. 8 at McKinley Grand Hotel in Canton, and a reception will follow there.

Invitations are being issued.

The bride-elect is a Web developer for Summit Racing Equipment in Tallmadge after earning a degree in computer science from Stark State College of Technology.

Mr. Shine is employed by Whitacre Engineering in Magnolia, Ohio.
