Ky. wedding set for Miss Shipsky, Mr. Anderson

Judy Shipsky of Struthers and Robert Shipsky of Poland are announcing the engagement and coming marriage of their daughter, Pamela Shipsky of Wilmore, Ky., to Matthew Anderson, also of Wilmore, son of Robert Goens of Huntsville, Ala., and the late Cynthia Goens.

A 2 p.m. ceremony is being planned for Oct. 8 in St. Luke Church, Nicholasville, Ky., and a reception at The Barrel House in Lexington, Ky.

The bride-elect is a housekeeper at Asbury Inn in Wilmore after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in bible and theology from Asbury Theological Seminary, where she is studying for a master’s degree in theology. Mr. Anderson works in the seminary post office while pursuing a master’s degree in divinity there. He earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Eastern University.
