In preparation for the new school year, Hilltop Elementary School hosted an open house meet-and-greet Aug. 31. Students and their parents could visit the school, check out their classrooms and, most importantly, meet their teachers.
Students and their parents also familiarized themselves with the library, cafeteria, gym, computer lab and music room. Students were encouraged to bring their school supplies to the open house so they would be prepared and ready to go on the first day of school.
